Shawn Brogan, CEO

 Shawn Brogan has been in the entertainment industry for the past 30 years.  Starting her career in the music business as an assistant to promoter Jack Boyle of Cellar Door productions at Sunrise Musical Theatre in Ft.Lauderdale, Florida.  At Sunrise she worked closely with numerous legendary performers from Frank Sinatra to Joan Rivers as well as Broadway touring shows of Yule Brenner in “The King And I” & “Camelot” with Richard Harris to name a few.  It was at Sunrise Theatre where Shawn was introduced to the great Michael Jackson who asked her to join the “Jackson Victory Tour” as a production assistant.  So she was off to tour the country with at the time was the largest concert touring show that had ever gone on the road. It was the opportunity & learning experience of a lifetime. The experience changed her life and set the course for her future in the entertainment industry. After the Jackson Victory Tour Shawn promptly made the move to Los Angeles to purse her career in the music business.  The first job she landed was working as a personal assistant to recording artist Frank Zappa & his Barking Pumpkin Records label.  She went on to work at Capital/EMI Records in the promotion department.  While promoting & working with  artist  such as David Bowie, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Brian Setzer & many others.  She developed close working ties necessary for the success between that artist & radio stations.

In 1987 Shawn joined A&M Records as assistant to the Vice-President of A&R, John McClain.  At A&M she worked closely with Janet Jackson, Sting, Herb Albert & many others.  In 1990 she joined Jack Nelson & Associates to assist in managing soul singers Jeffrey Osborne, Kathy Sledge, Marlon Jackson as well as other recording artist.  She continued refining her entertainment industry skills carrying her assignments from the recording process all the way through to concert touring.  Later she joined International Talent Agency assisting in concert tour booking & scheduling of over 50 musical acts including Pink Floyd & Phil Collins/Genesis.

In 1998 Shawn founded The Brogan Agency,a full service boutique talent agency.  Representing actors for film, TV, commercial and print.  Shawn’s leadership & guidance established the agency’s reputation as one of honesty and forthrightness providing casting directors & producers with professional, quality talent.
