Shawn Brogan
Shawn Brogan has over 26 years experience in the entertainment business. Her achievements in commercial, print, theatrical and music representation can be attributed to her ability to seek and find quality talent, the unwavering trust of the client relationships she has developed, as well as her amazingly tenacious work ethic.
Shawn’s career began as an assistant production coordinator at the Sunrise Musical Theatre in Ft, Lauderdale, FL. Working with a variety of acts from Frank Sinatra to Santana, Shawn’s first major outing came in 1984 when she was hired as a production assistant for the highly successful "Jackson Victory Tour". Working closely with Michael Jackson, as well as all the Jackson Brothers, where Shawn expanded and honed her entertainment industry skills. After completing the Victory Tour, Shawn relocated to Los Angeles and started working as a personal assistant for Frank Zappa and his ‘Barking Pumpkin’ Records label. She later landed a job at Capital/EMI Records, in the promotion department. While promoting the current record albums of David Bowie, Najee, Kate Bush, Brian Setzer and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (to name a few), Shawn developed the close working ties necessary for success between the artists and the radio stations.
In 1987 Shawn Joined A& M Records as the assistant to the Vice-President John McClain. At A&M, She worked closely with artists of the stature of Herb Alpert, Sting, and Janet Jackson and Brenda Russell and many others . In 1990, Shawn joined Jack Nelson & Associates to assist in the managing of Soul legends Jeffery Osborne, Marlon Jackson, Kathy Sledge and many other recording artists. Here Shawn continued refining her entertainment industry skills carrying her assignments from the recording process all the way through the concert touring. Additionally, Shawn was responsible for the tour booking schedule, through the International Talent Group, for such stars as Phil Collins, Pink Floyd, Steve Miller, Peter Fampton and a roster of over 50 other acts.
As an agent at Allure Model and Talent Agency, starting in 1998, Shawn represented actors and models in all areas of commercial, print, television and film. Her leadership and guidance established the agency's reputation as one of honesty and forthrightness. After 9 years of success at Allure Agency, in early 2006, Shawn left and formed the Brogan Agency, where she and her staff continue to provide top quality actors and models to the industry. With the same high standards and professionalism, determination and energy that Shawn brought to Allure, The Brogan Agency will, continue to flourish for many years to come.
