Felicia Lopes
Felicia M. Lopes just completed her tenth year as the General
Manager of the Drama Desk Awards. She has more than 15
years of work and leadership experience in the areas of project
management, event production and marketing, media campaign
management, corporate communications, public relations,
celebrity involvement, creative direction, sponsor relations and
media planning. Having recently made a career move to Los
Angeles to participate in the ACT ONE Program, a Film/TV
producers and entertainment executive training program
affiliated with Pepperdine University, she spent this past
summer working for the Gillen Group as part of her training. The founder, Anne Marie
Gillen, was the Executive Producer of the hit film, Fried Green Tomatoes,and former 5-
year COO of Morgan Freeman’s production company, Revelation Entertainment. In
September she was hired on a short term basis (until 11/15/2010) as the Vice President
of Theatrical Distribution and Marketing for WinterStar Productions wherein she
garnered a 10 city national theatrical distribution deal, for a made for DVD film release,
MIDNIGHT RECKONING, an independent film by writer/director Derrick Warfel.

SHADES OF HARLEM, The Cotton Club Musical - looking to revive a tour of the long-
time NY originated hit off-Broadway show directed by Adam Wade.

Corporate Events Producer:
Ms. Lopes has served as the Chief Operating Officer and consultant to Red Carpet
Media Partners LLC (RCMP), a full service consulting and management firm that
oversees the humanitarian interests of celebrity activists and the non-profit and
corporate partners who support them. For clients in New York, Los Angeles, and
Washington DC, Ms. Lopes was one of three consultants who jointly conceptualized,
developed, and produced high profile charity events, national media campaigns, charity
photo shoots, benefit concerts and tours, charity singles, audio podcasts, video projects,
and televised programming. Ms. Lopes oversaw corporate and non-profit client business
development and production management logistics for all projects. She lead the
management of event logistics including: staffing, vendor management, entertainment,
corporate sponsorship acquisition, budgeting, event timeline, catering, décor and
thematic creation, seating, invitation production and mailing and database management.

Association. She has served as the Company Manager for Palaver Productions’ United
Kingdom tour of SACRIFICE a play by Michael J. Austin.
Ms. Lopes is a member of the Broadway League and an MFA graduate of Columbia
University's School of the Arts' Theatre Management and Producing Program.
